In the last several months I have used 35 gallons of gas which I have stored since 2017. This fuel was for use in my generators when the power goes down, but I never used it. Long term storage was aided by adding STABIL. I have found no problems with using this gas after 5 1/2 years in 5-gallon Gerry cans which were stored in a fuel locker I built and out of direct sunlight. Gas prices have begun to go up again so I must refill my Gerry cans and add STABIL once again while the price is right. In Oregon it is against the law to pump your own gas and in today's world it's also against the law to fill Gerry cans at the gas station. They won't do it so I fill up my PU truck and syphon gas from it into the cans.
