part 2, SKILLS
part 2, SKILLS
yes learn new SKILLs from wood working to auto repair to sewing to repair clothing, to shooting , to first aid, to basic survival in the wild, learn to use a compass, learn to move unseen , or learn to move in any type of events, a wildfire can destroy all your best layed plans , floods, snowstorms , war , SKILLS will kick in as you move into any DANGER,, the more skills you have the easyer life becomes , if you can not change a flat tire (skill) panic sets in.. a forest fire could overcome you , or again you could find a small river to cover in , and survive,, barter, or even looting , but the final answer is how badly do you want to survive , NEVER be locked into any set of rules, or laws,, GO DO IT... as i say.........NEVER EVER GIVE UP.. tell DEATH to take a hike .........you can not buy it...
survival may even be a job that you have never done ......... DO IT .........most losers never even start ,,,,because they do not want to fail ,,, know what you may have to fail 99 times and make it on try..100....

Re: part 2, SKILLS
Couldn't agree more 308gun. My opinion, skills are more valuable than any staples. Staples have their place but skills can provide when staples are not available.
Re: part 2, SKILLS
A short add on, was thinking about Thomas Edson and inventing the light bulb , don't know the correct amount of times , but i think Tom made about 237 tries before he got it right ,,, the light bulb got invented ... glad he did not give easy,, we might still be using oil lamps !
think what you want to do, and remember old Tom and about trying ,,that's what i can mind set............

Re: part 2, SKILLS
How well I remember Thomas Alva Edison. I was entranced with his biography when I was growing up. I figured if he did all that he did throughout his life working with his deafness, I could certainly make an effort to succeed with my efforts.
So far, I have.
