This is how I store dry powders (milk etc.)
My neighbor smokes tobacco from a can. He gives me his empties and I put a ziplock freezer back inside. I fill it up as far as I can and put the plastic lid on it.
I then duct tape the lid to the can. I put a tape label on it and then put it into 18 Gal totes and then duct tape the lid to the tote. Then it goes to my storage area.
No bugs, no moisture, no worry.
