Proposed laws in Oregon

by Toepopper » 09 Dec 2017 10:21

The governor of Oregon has stated that she would like to see all motor vehicles over 25 years old removed from the roads, to improve air quality and she is pushing hard to force electric cars on the population. She flew to Germany last week for an eco summit and before she left Oregon she issued some executive orders: first, all new housing being built in the state must have an electrical hook up to re-charge electric car batteries. Second order was to wire all new houses to accept solar panels and mounts must be installed in every new roof to install panels on. An electric vehicle may work in a city for short commutes but rural residents travel long distances and electric cars aren't appropriate for long distance travel.
