There are several new pawn shops in my area and they all carry a nice selection of used rifles and pistols at reasonable prices. The brunt of their over the counter business is buying gold and silver and construction hand tools as well as small pieces of equipment like air compressors and drywall splatter guns. Business is booming.

I have never been in a pawn shop in my life. This might be the time.

I was driving today and noted several pawn shops , so i stopped and found they can be a good source of all kinds stuff like lots of hand and power tools, guns, ammo , radio stuff... but you have to know your prices ... some items like hand tools were cheap, but guns and ammo were there,, guns were a mix bag again.... If you have some time check them out....
