For what it's worth: Suggested reading list for today's Christian American patriots
The Bible
The Declaration of Independence
The Constitution of the United States
The Law, Bastiat (1850)
The Theme is Freedom, Evans (1994)
The Foundations of American Constitutional Government, FEE (1996)
The Conservative American, Manion (1964)
The Key to Peace, Manion (1950)
The Coming Economic Earthquake, Burkett (1991)
What Happened to the American Dream? Burkett (1993)
Original Intent, Barton (1996)
Larceny in the Heart, Rushdoony (2002); Original title: The Roots of Inflation (1982)
The 5000 Year Leap, Skousen (1981)
None Dare Call it Treason, Stormer (1964)
None Dare Call it Conspiracy, Allen (1971)
Architects of Conspiracy, Hoar (1984)
The Invisible Government, Smoot (1962)
The Creature From Jekyll Island, Griffin (1994)
The Hard Truth About Public Schools, Short (2004)
The Road to Serfdom, Hayek (1941)
Government by Emergency, North (1983)
The New Totalitarians, Huntford (1975)
The Political Illusion, Ellul (1967)
THESE TIMELESS CLASSICS ARE INDISPENSABLE:
The Federalist Papers, Hamilton, Madison, Jay (1787-1788)
The Anti-Federalist Papers, Henry, DeWitt, et.al. (1787-1788)
Democracy in America, deToqueville (1835-1840)
The Wealth of Nations, Smith (1776/1778/1784/1786/1789)
Reflections on the French Revolution, Burke (1790)
No reading list will satisfy everyone. Also, the order in which books should be read for greatest benefit may differ. The two groups of ten prioritize
my preferences only in terms of more immediate concern. The first group of ten is more foundational. An ideal list would include extended comments
on significant content and relative importance. Input by others is welcome.
