The price of firewood has come down by $20 per cord here in Oregon. There are so many people out of work here and many of these unemployed have turned to selling firewood to pay the bills. A cord of seasoned madrone hardwood is selling for $180 while last year it was up to $200 per cord. I have 3 cords baking in the sun and will stack it in the woodshed in September.
