I have 5 5-gallon jugs filled with water that has been treated with Aerobic 7, which they say will extend the viability of the water for a long time - a couple of years. I do rotate it and fill them up with new water on a regular schedule.
I just purchased four cases (27 each) of drinking water boxes with a 5-year+ shelf life.
We have a separate well for watering and I'm going to have it tested for potability. If it is drinkable, I'm going to install an auxiliary hand-pump so we can draw it out if power fails.
I think we're probably fairly well covered in this area, at least for the short term.
