Well, I don't like boxers, I prefer a little support where it counts. I'll go commando for a long walk rather quickly though.

Don't mean to get into too much detail on your skivvies, but I've heard boxer briefs reduce the chafing.. tightie whities and regular loose boxers are supposedly bad news.

This is mainly for the men but, it's good info to pass on if necessary.
Many times I have taken some long walks and developed a serious chafing rash at the inside tops of my legs. I found out later that this chafing is caused by wearing skivvies under my trousers and was advised to ditch the skivvies so that I would not chafe at all.
Skipping skivvies is known as "goin' commando", for some reason. I don't know but, it's a common term.
Well I am here to tell you that it really works! I've joined the local YMCA and I use the walking track for my exercise right now. I'm working on building stamina before hitting the other exercise opportunities available.
The first couple of visits I wore my skivvies and got badly chafed. After I remembered about getting rid of them, I did and after my time on the track, no chafing whatsoever. Each and every visit after the first couple.
So guys, doff the skivvies and enjoy preventing the pain, chafing and inconvenience.
